Carey Alcott

Carey received her M.Arch from the University of Virginia, and B.A.’s in Anthropology and Studio Art from the University of Texas at Austin. In the years between, she was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Botswana, lived and worked on organic farms in the Southwestern United States, and spent time building natural houses for a non-profit organization in Moab, Utah. She has recently returned to Austin to “settle down” and put her experiences and interest in sustainable design, construction, and community-building to use in her home state.
