Katelyn Kautz

Katelyn began her journey with Forge Craft in 2021 as an intern and joined the team full-time upon her graduation from The University of Texas at Austin in 2023. While at UT, she found her passion for sustainability in architecture via healthy design principles and utilizing green building materials. Katelyn takes an active approach when designing with clients to ensure full optimization of the space to improve the users’ quality of life. She believes that sustainable design is the key to longevity through efficient energy usage and passive home design standards. When Katelyn is not in the office, you can find her on the tennis court, hanging out with her dog Stella, or working on three crochet projects at once.
