Four identical houses cascade down a steep challenging site to take advantage of private canyon views. The modern expression is meant contrast with the heavily wooded surrounds. The entry side is a simple two story house but the aggressive grade gives way to a three story house on the view side. The location makes the three story backside publicly visible thereby creating a second, albeit, far away façade.
